Q1. All pet food brands claim to be the best, why is Eagle Pack the best?
Answer: All Eagle Pack diets contain holistic - natural ingredients with added supplements to promote pet health. Simply, you wont see the same result with any other pet food at any price. All ingredients and finished product are tested to be certain they meet our rigid standards.
Q2. Should I supplement my pet's food?
Answer: Not if it's Eagle Pack. The company was the first to ask vets, breeders, kennel owners, retailers and show field people and nutritionists, what was being added. Each supplement was researched. Those that proved effective were added to the formulas. The many individual supplements you see advertised would probably be added to most other brands, but not to Eagle Pack, that has been done for you on a balanced basis. These holistic supplements are included to maintain overall wellness and to help resolve any health issues which your pet may have.
Q3. My dog has stopped eating your food. Why?
Answer: After your pet has been on Eagle Pack for 30 - 60 days it may back off on the amount consumed. This is because certain nutrients were missing from the previous brand. Once on Eagle Pack it takes 30 - 60 days for your pets system to catch up. Once it reaches optimum levels, your pet will not need as much food.
Q4. Are Eagle Pack foods organic?
Answer: Some formulas contain organic ingredients. While not 100% organic, all formulas follow the organic concept and are made with antibiotic free meat proteins, with no added hormones. Grains are pesticide free.
Q5. What does meat meal mean?
Answer: Meat meal, as in chicken meal is derived from chicken meat, not by-products. 70% water is removed from the meat to form a concentrated protein meal. It is 91% digestible and 11 times more protein concentrated than meat.
Q6. I have been told not to feed puppy food to my large puppy. Why?
Answer: Some companies do not understand the special nutritional requirements for these breeds. Some diets have been formulated which are too high in protein, fat, calories, incorrect energy and is based on an adult formula, then nutritionally modified for puppies. Eagle Pack has more success formulating diets for these breeds than any other company - it does not experiment on your dog.
Q7. Why do you use pork?
Answer: Pork’s hypoallergenic; it is one of the most digestible animal proteins and today is parasite free. It is an expensive product.
Q8. Does your food contain brain food?
Answer: It is in all our foods as a component of Omega 3 fatty acids. Whilst other companies are only now discovering the benefits of this, we have been aware of the importance of it and have added it to all our food since 1985.
