Junior – Casual (Age 13+)

 Our junior staff are considered valuable members of the City Organics team.

  • Are available to work most school holidays?
  • Are available to work 2-3 shifts per week after school?

Key responsibilities for junior staff involve:

  • Packaging & labeling up of bulk goods

  • Cleaning & tidying of store

  • Organising & cleaning of cool-room

  • Unpacking & checking off new stock

  • Shelving

  • Regular use of technology

  • Work with systems and procedures as required

    Some customer service in time

 

You will need: Please rate yourself out of 10 for each attribute:

  • A good level of organisational & time management skills

  • High level of self motivation and energy

  • High moral standards

  • To be living a healthy, intoxicant free lifestyle

  • A mature outlook & a responsible attitude

    Excellent grasp of the English language: written & spoken

    Good at Maths & calculations

  • A friendly and good-natured disposition

  • Attention to detail & follow through on tasks

  • Mastery of verbal, aural and written English

  • Ability to type comfortably 

  • Positive attitude and a good work ethic

  • Very good presentation
  • Available for work over most school holidays
  • Comfortable with computers & technology in general

  • Experience with cleaning eg dusting, wiping down surfaces, mopping & vacuuming

 

The right person will have the opportunity to develop themselves and their skill set as opportunity, attitude and aptitude presents itself.

For example in the areas of:

  • Customer service

  • Merchandising

  • Stock Inventory and replenishment

  • etc...

Wage Rate

  • As per the State Retail Award

  • Staff Discounts

  • Certificate level training is available

    Work Hours

  • From 4-10 hours per week after school.

  • More hours are usually available during the school holidays.
